  The Haitian Day Parade & HaitianSpringFest is truly unique. It is family oriented by design. Truth be told, the month of May is Haitian Heritage Month. May has great historical and cultural traditions that all Haitians are proud to make others aware of and to pass on to future generations. It s in that spirit that the Haitian Day Parade & HaitianSpringFest always closed the month for the past eight years. This celebration incorporates a Haitian patriotic theme into an exciting day of cultural activities including food, musical entertainment, floats with beautiful queens and princesses and much more in the parade/ Festival. Smiling families dine at sidewalk cafes. The air is filled with music, laughter, and the tempting aromas of Haitian cuisine. Surely, this must be Haiti? Actually, it is the HaitianSpringFest in Brooklyn, Nostrand Avenue (Little Haiti). C est reellement magnifique! The HaitianSpringFest closes with a spectacular musical performance by T-Vice which is back by popular demand, the best mini-jazz in the Haitian community. This event is the largest gathering in the Tri-State area of Northeast in the said population. Tens of thousands of people attend every year. The Parade / HaitianSpringFest provides an ultimate venue to showcase your products and services. This Parade / Festival is dedicated to preserving Haitian heritage and culture. By car, from Queens: Take Belt Parkway To exit 17 W (No Conduit Ave)- take Linden BLVD- strait to Nostrand Ave. From Manhattan: Take Brooklyn Bridge - turn left on Tillary St. - turn right on Flatbush Ave - straight to Linden Blvd - turn left on Linden Blvd - go straight to Nostrand Ave. Public transportation is also available: By Bus: from Church Ave: Take Bus 35 to Nostrand Avenue- From Nostrand Ave: Bus 44 to Linden Blvd. By train: take # 2 to Church Avenue stop and walk up one block to Linden Blvd. We also encourage alternative transportation via bicycle, carpool, walking... 11:00 am - 8:00 pm - Although the parade begins at the same time as the festival. The parade ends at the festival (HaitianFest)- and the festival ends at 8:00 PM
